NEW CHAPTER
In 2018, Kierstin and I embarked on a journey to Las Vegas. We were driven by our profound love for this city and an unwavering passion for the Kingdom of God to flourish through the planting of churches. Five years have passed quickly, and our love and fervor have only deepened. However, the path we are on has changed in ways we had never anticipated.
Over the past few months, we have found ourselves immersed in a season of earnestly seeking the Lord. We have yearned for His guidance, not only in our personal lives, but also in the direction of Image Church. Through divine appointments and the unmistakable voice of God, resonating in His Word, a unique opportunity has surfaced. We have had the opportunity to explore the prospect of uniting forces with another church in our city— aspiring for a more profound Kingdom impact.
After weeks of fervent prayer and seeking wise counsel, we have discerned that the Lord is orchestrating a new chapter for Image Church. This new and exciting chapter involves joining forces with Favor City Church, under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Gibbons. Favor City Church is a Kingdom-minded church that is passionate about planting churches and glorifying God. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for all that God has accomplished in and through His Church in recent years. And we are filled with anticipation for the extraordinary journey that lies ahead.
As we embark on this transition, we invite you to join us in continuing to live on mission for King Jesus, albeit, in a new location. We recognize that this may not align with the expectations you had when you first attended our church. We want to assure you that we are committed to addressing any questions you may have and assisting in connecting you to another local church if that is the path you feel led to pursue.
Kierstin and I extend our heartfelt gratitude for the impact you've had on our lives and your invaluable contributions to Image Church. Let us collectively represent Jesus well as we embrace this new chapter, confident that the Lord has remarkable plans for each one of us.

In October of 2019 God planted a vision in Joseph and Kristen’s heart for a church where people can belong before they believe. Shortly thereafter they were invited to lead a youth weekend in Las Vegas where God opened their eyes to the epidemic of youth homelessness in Southern Nevada and used this reality as a catalyst for their calling to the city. So in August of 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, the Gibbons moved with their 2 kids, Canon and Riley Jo as well as 5 close friends to plant Favor City Church.
